The eastern Indian cuisine is influenced by Assamese and Bengali cooking styles. The people in this region love the combination of fish and rice. If you love sweets, you should try Cham-cham, Sandesh, and Roshogollas.

Regardless of your nationality, you will love the local cuisine of the Indians. Vegetarians are found mostly in the southern area of the country. Hindus also consider eating beef as taboo because of their belief in the holy cow. In the northern area, most people prefer meat and follow the central Asia or Middle East style of cooking.
